Black executive Craig Arnold, the chairman and chief executive officer of Eaton — an American-Irish multinational power management company — received a total compensation of nearly $14.07 million in 2022.

Arnold — who assumed the CEO role on June 1, 2016 — saw his compensation from the power management company decline by 37.7 percent from his previous year’s pay of $19.37 million.

This is linked to changes in his pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, which he did not receive. Also, his non-equity incentive declined by 51.28 percent compared to the previous year’s figure.
