Nigerian billionaire Abdul Samad Rabiu, renowned for his philanthropic efforts through the Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa), has initiated the construction of a state-of-the-art administrative block and conference room at Al-Qalam University in Katsina State, Nigeria.

Under the Tertiary Education Grant Scheme (TEGS) initiated by ASR Africa, 22 tertiary institutions in Nigeria are set to benefit from a total grant of N259 million ($195,000). Al-Qalam University’s selection as a beneficiary of the TEGS initiative underscores its exemplary standards and commitment to academic excellence.
