Ports and Cargo Handling Services Terminal, a subsidiary of Sifax Group, a leading multinational conglomerate under the leadership of Nigerian logistics tycoon Taiwo Afolabi, has resumed full port operations following a brief fire outbreak that temporarily halted its activities.

The fire, which occurred on the mentioned date, affected the facilities of Port and Cargo Handling Services Limited. In response to the crisis, the company swiftly collaborated with relevant agencies, notably the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Tin-Can Island Command, to expedite the restoration of normal port operations.

Thanks to a robust backup plan and effective collaboration with authorities, the terminal is now fully operational again, highlighting the significance of contingency measures in the logistics sector and underscoring the company’s commitment to operational efficiency and resilience.
