SeamlessHR, a payroll and HR software company led by Nigerian tech entrepreneur Emmanuel Okeleji, has announced that it successfully processed a staggering N500 billion ($311.2 million) worth of payroll for diverse African businesses throughout 2023.

Building on its impressive performance in 2022, when it secured $10 million in a Series-A funding round led by TLcom Capital, SeamlessHR expanded its operations across core market segments in Africa. Its recent milestone underscores the startup’s commitment to delivering seamless and efficient payroll solutions across the continent.

Under the leadership of Okeleji, CEO and co-founder, SeamlessHR remained the go-to partner for businesses across various sectors, including banking, financial services, manufacturing, oil & gas, and government agencies. This enabled the company to process a staggering $311.2 million worth of payroll throughout the past year.

Over $70 million was directly disbursed from SeamlessPayroll during the same period, emphasizing the company’s integral role in facilitating seamless financial processes.
