Nigerian-British star Olajide Olatunji, famously known as KSI (Knowledge Strength Integrity), has firmly established himself as one of the world’s wealthiest Black individuals, amassing a staggering $24 million in earnings over the past twelve months.

KSI‘s remarkable journey from a YouTuber to a multifaceted artist, boxer, and entrepreneur exemplifies the limitless potential of digital entertainment and personal branding. His recent financial milestone solidifies his place among the world’s top earners and creators.

The 30-year-old star, whose stage name aptly reflects his journey, has witnessed a meteoric rise in fame and fortune. KSI’s $24 million in earnings and undeniable influence have propelled him to the second position on Forbes’ recent list of top creators worldwide.

KSI’s initial foray into the world of online entertainment dates back to 2009 when he began reacting to FIFA video games on YouTube. His unapologetically humorous and engaging content quickly garnered a massive following.

Over the years, he evolved from being a YouTuber to a multifaceted talent, making strides as a rapper and boxer. In 2022 and 2023, KSI made a significant impact in the music industry with the release of two singles, further solidifying his status as a versatile artist.

KSI’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through as he secured a multi-year distribution deal for his promotional company, Misfits Boxing. This enterprise led his return to the boxing ring with the spectacular event, “Two Fights, One Night,” where KSI emerged victorious in both of his matches.

KSI’s decision to pursue a career in entertainment rather than traditional education has undoubtedly paid off. Before leaving college to devote himself to YouTube full-time, he sought advice from a teacher who inquired about his earnings. KSI’s monthly income from YouTube at the time, approximately £1,500 ($1,830), exceeded his teacher’s salary, confirming the viability of his unconventional career choice.

With an astounding 112 million followers and an impressive average engagement rate of 6.5 percent, KSI has become one of the United Kingdom’s most influential figures. His involvement with the Sidemen, a collective of British internet personalities, has further amplified his reach.

Additionally, KSI co-founded the restaurant chain Sides and the vodka brand XIX, diversifying his portfolio. He also ventured into the health and fitness industry with the creation of the workout drink Prime Hydration, in partnership with Logan Paul.
