Dwyane Wade

Dwyane Wade, a name synonymous with basketball brilliance, is not just a name that has left an indelible mark on the NBA’s chronicles but also on the business arena. While his 16-year NBA tenure predominantly with the Miami Heat earned him a place among basketball’s all-time greats, his entrepreneurial ventures after his basketball career have further emphasized his multifaceted talents. His transition from the court to the boardroom has been as seamless as his jump shots. Here are seven companies under the banner of this NBA legend.

A synergistic union between Wade and the Chinese sportswear behemoth, Li-Ning, Way of Wade, conceived in 2012, is not just a brand but a statement. The range encompasses everything from high-performance basketball shoes to chic athleisure wear and accessories.

A trademark of Wade Enterprises, Inc., named after his home city of Chicago, 59th and Prairie Entertainment, is ‘a cultural shifting production company telling new and untold stories.’ It was created to develop and produce projects in both TV and Film.

In partnership with his former Miami Heat teammate Udonis Haslem, Wade co-founded Forty-Three, a venture that introduced D. Wade Burgers and UD Wings through a collaboration with Combo Kitchen, a trailblazing ghost kitchen enterprise.

Founded in 2009 by Dwyane Wade and his exceptionally talented wife, actress Gabrielle Union, Proudly specializes in crafting baby care products tailored to the unique needs of children with melanated skin. It’s a labor of love that stems from their devotion to parenthood.
