In the high-speed world of racing, Lewis Hamilton stands out as a preeminent champion.

The British racing icon represents Mercedes AMG Petronas in Formula One and boasts an esteemed track record.

He has clinched seven World Drivers’ Championships, tying with Michael Schumacher, and holds records for the most wins in Formula One, which includes 103 pole positions and 103 podium finishes.

When he is not being a dominant force on the racetrack, Hamilton dominates on the business front. Hamilton, who boasts a net worth estimated at around $285 million, has invested in and set up a number of businesses.

Billionaires.Africa reveals four businesses owned by Hamilton in part or in whole:

In 2018, Hamilton debuted his clothing line at New York Fashion Week, collaborating with American designer Tommy Hilfiger. Models Winnie Harlow and Hailey Baldwin showcased the line.

In September 2019, Hamilton introduced Neat Burger, touted as the first global plant-based burger chain. The establishment was recognized as the ‘Best Vegan Restaurant of the Year’ at the 2020 Deliveroo Restaurant Awards.

Hamilton launched Team X44 in September 2020. This team competes in the all-electric SUV off-road racing series, Extreme E. By January 2022, X44 was honored with the Extreme E Sustainability Award and clinched the championship that same year.

Established in October 2022, this production company under Hamilton has two projects in the pipeline: a sports action drama directed by Joseph Kosinski and a documentary on Hamilton himself. Both will be co-produced by Hamilton and debut on Apple.
