In the fast-evolving world of technology, there are some who stand out as exceptional. One such individual is Owen Sakawa, a young Kenyan tech entrepreneur who is leading the charge in transforming the African AI space.

Through his innovative work in the tech ecosystem, the Kenyan tech entrepreneur is paving the way for a new generation of AI-based solutions that could revolutionize the way businesses operate, especially in the real estate industry.

As the CEO and founder of Elloe AI, Sakawa is spearheading the democratization of conversational AI and related ecosystems through automation. His fascination with artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential to revolutionize business operations dates back to 2013, when he obtained his first degree in mathematics and computer science from Kenya Methodist University.

His passion led him to pursue a master of philosophy in machine learning and machine intelligence from the University of Cambridge in 2020.

During his time at the university, the Kenyan tech entrepreneur founded RepairNet, an AI-powered mobility platform that aimed to disrupt the car repair experience, making it affordable, transparent, and customer-centric.

This was just the beginning of Sakawa’s quest to push the boundaries of AI-based solutions.

Driven by his desire to help businesses thrive and become more customer-centric through conversational commerce, Sakawa teamed up with Abhijay Rao and Aaron Madolora to establish Elloe.ai, a U.S.-based conversational commerce startup.

Elloe AI is an innovative conversational commerce platform powered by AI, enabling SMEs to buy and sell products seamlessly on messaging platforms like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram. The startup has already gained investors’ attention and raised more than $1 million in a pre-seed round led by Mad Ventures, Inc., among others.

The startup is now directing its efforts towards revolutionizing the U.S. real estate industry by streamlining communication, improving efficiency, and disrupting traditional practices with the aid of its technology and state-of-the-art platform.

In an exclusive letter addressed to Billionaires.Africa, Sakawa revealed that the innovative platform has attracted the attention of prominent players in the real estate industry, including Zillow. He added that the startup’s ability to enhance the customer experience while saving time and money has garnered accolades.
