Lobe a Cameroonian entrepreneur, who began his career as a banker in 2010 and has since held various roles in finance and human resources, founded Heptic Holdings in August 2016.

The Waspito application includes features such as teleconsultation, which allows users to consult a doctor or other healthcare professional remotely via video call. This makes it simple for Africans with an Internet connection to access quality health services and preventive healthcare information.

In 2022, Waspito secured a $2.7-million seed funding round from institutional investors as it moved to scale its presence in its home market and expand operations to Cote d’Ivoire. The funding is presently being deployed to expand and enhance the startup’s operation, deepen its coverage across Cameroon, and launch in Cote d’Ivoire.

With the support of institutional investors and the dedication of its founder, Waspito is poised to make a significant impact on the healthcare landscape in Africa.

As a top-performing Cameroonian entrepreneur, Lobe’s commitment to utilizing cutting-edge technology to improve healthcare and promote sustainable economic development throughout the continent is commendable, and his efforts are sure to be beneficial for people in need of accessible and reliable health services and information.
