The Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care (GIPLC), a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Nigerian philanthropist Nuhu Kwajafa – and which has Nigerian oilman Igho Charles Sanomi II as a major backer – will donate cheques totaling over NGN100-million to Nigerian children requiring surgeries both within and outside the country.

The cheques will be presented to deserving Nigerian children in need during a ceremony in Abuja on Thurs., July 13, 2023.

These funds, equivalent to approximately $160,000.00, were generously raised during a birthday and charity dinner in Paris, France, hosted by the Grand Patron of GIPLC, Sanomi, on May 20, 2023. The presentation shall also be graced by numerous children who have benefited from GIPLC’s Touching Lives Everyday Projects across Nigeria.

GIPLC is a non-governmental organization headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, with a commitment to promoting sustainable and participatory community charity projects that uplift vulnerable children and widows in Nigeria and around the world.

Established 17 years ago in 2006, GIPLC has consistently spearheaded highly effective charity initiatives, both locally and internationally, with a track record of raising and disbursing more than $5 million to date.

Sanomi, the founder of Taleveras Group, an international commodities trading company with operations in several African countries, is known for his humanitarian efforts through the Dickens Sanomi Foundation, a charity organization he established with his siblings to honor his father. He is a major financier and backer of GIPLC, among thousands of well-heeled Africans.

Last December, GIPLC presented him with the inaugural 2022 GIPLC Golden Heart Award for supporting vulnerable children in Nigeria and worldwide.

The GIPLC Golden Heart Award was established and endowed to annually recognize and honor men and women (from all nations worldwide) who have demonstrated exceptional, tangible, and exemplary care and support to vulnerable children worldwide.
