Optiva Capital Partners, led by CEO Dr. Jane Kimemia, has announced its ambitious plan to attract $500 million in investments into Nigeria's hospitality sector. This initiative is a collaboration with Loft & Keys Properties, one of the leading property developers in both Nigeria and the Middle East region.

Expanding Nigeria's hospitality and healthcare sectors

According to Dr. Kimemia, the planned investment will focus on key Nigerian cities including Lagos, Abuja, Delta, and Enugu. In addition to enhancing the hospitality infrastructure, the partnership will also aim to improve the healthcare sector in the country.

“This investment demonstrates that there is still much potential for development in Nigeria,” Kimemia stated during the signing ceremony in Lagos. “With a population exceeding 260 million and an annual growth rate of 2.3 percent, Nigeria presents a massive consumer base with tremendous growth potential across various sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, and manufacturing.”

Kimemia further highlighted that investing in hospitality will positively impact other sectors by accelerating employment and infrastructural growth. The ultimate goal of the partnership is to establish an efficient network that supports Nigeria’s growing economy.

Global perspective of diversified investment

In addition to its operations in Nigeria, Dr. Kimemia revealed that, through its collaboration with Loft & Keys Properties, Optiva Capital will also expose clients to investment opportunities in the Middle East. Loft & Keys specializes in real estate investment and management, bringing valuable experience from one of the world’s fastest-growing regions.

“As a result of this partnership, we will be able to offer our clients the chance to enter other thriving markets, such as the Middle East, which is characterized by its rapidly growing economy and improving infrastructure,” Kimemia said.

Optiva Capital is a wealth management firm based in Africa, chaired by Franklin Nechi, focusing on wealth creation and protection for high-net-worth individuals. Originally established to unlock the economic potential of specific African nations, the firm has since expanded its focus to include international investment prospects for domestic development.

With its strong presence in the Middle East, Loft & Keys Properties will play a key role in helping Optiva Capital achieve its mission by offering tailored real estate and investment services.
