Condor Electronics, a subsidiary of the Benhamadi Group and one of Algeria’s leading manufacturers of home appliances and electronics, has announced a new partnership with Candy, a renowned Italian brand in the home appliance sector.
Condor is led by Algerian mogul Abderrahmane Benhamadi.
The Algerian group Condor has formed a new partnership with Candy, becoming an industrial partner, manufacturer, and producer of home appliances and electronics in Algeria.
“This partnership marks a major step for Condor in achieving its development goals, expansion, growth, and opening up to creating a robust industry, with significant technological transfer and integration rates, while invigorating the national market and targeting regional markets,” the Algerian company stated.
Condor emphasized that this collaboration will enable them to diversify their product range with appliances that meet international standards, produced locally.
“This collaboration will also allow us to enhance our product portfolio with appliances that comply with international standards, incorporating local production,” Condor explained.
New agreement to enhance Condor’s market reach and product innovation in Algeria
This partnership supports Condor’s goal to improve its manufacturing and grow its market in Algeria and the surrounding region. By using Candy’s advanced technology and design skills, Condor plans to upgrade the quality and innovation of its products.
In 2018, the Chinese home appliance giant Haier acquired Candy and its brands Hoover and Rosières. Candy, an Italian brand, is famous for its wide range of major home appliances like washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, cookers, and ovens. Hoover specializes in vacuum cleaners, while Rosières is known for its cooking appliances, including ovens, hoods, and cookers.
This agreement aim to help Condor gain advanced technology from Candy, improving its production abilities and integration rate. By using Candy’s expertise, Condor plans to enhance the quality and efficiency of its manufacturing processes.
