Addressing a crowd at a private pop-up event earlier this week, Rihanna, one of the world’s Black billionaires, expressed her gratitude: “Fenty Beauty in mainland China will always be because of your support, so thank you so much. I could not wait to come here for all of you.”

“Fenty Beauty has been a passion of mine for so many years,” she continued. “I’ve always enjoyed the emotional connection that first-time customers have had to the brand. Coming to China again is beautiful for me, just to see all your unique faces and personalities.”
