His NBA career spanned 17 years across five teams, highlighted by achievements such as two NBA All-Star selections and the All-NBA Second Team in 2006.

GIBRALTAR FILMS

Gibraltar Films, co-founded by Elton Brand, is a production company that invests in, acquires, produces, and distributes cinematic films. The company’s first project was “Rescue Dawn,” released in 2007, directed by Werner Herzog and based on the survival story of a U.S. pilot captured in a Vietnam prison. Moreover, Gibraltar Films represents Brand’s venture into the film industry, reflecting his interest in supporting and creating meaningful cinematic projects beyond his professional sports and venture capital endeavors​​.

MILK MEDIA STUDIOS

Milk & Media Studios, established in 2009 by Elton Brand and Harry Knapp, originated from their successful collaboration on the film “Rescue Dawn,” starring Christian Bale. Elton Brand is listed among the investors in KB Partners’ Myriad Opportunity Fund II, an early stage venture capital fund which focuses on investing in sports technology startups. As at 2021, the Myriad Opportunity Fund II fund had secured $64 million toward its goal with contributions from notable figures like NFL Hall of Fame running back Curtis Martin and Callaway Golf CEO Chip Brewer, alongside Brand.

In 2008, Elton Brand partnered with Converse to create signature performance basketball footwear, which was announced in a long-term, strategic partnership. Furthermore, the line launched with the EB1, a signature performance basketball shoe that Brand debuted. This footwear was made available exclusively at JCPenney locations nationwide.
