Internationally acclaimed musician and business mogul, Beyonce Knowles, has extended her entrepreneurial reach beyond the music industry with the launch of her very first hair care line, Cecred.

The announcement comes on the heels of her highly successful Renaissance Tour, where the global icon grossed an impressive $460 million last summer, earning a staggering $145 million.

Early in May 2023, Beyonce began dropping hints about Cecred during the Renaissance Tour, and now the line has been officially introduced to the market. With a current net worth of $800 million, as reported by Forbes, Beyonce’s latest venture showcases her commitment to leveraging her influence and business acumen.

Cecred’s hair care line is tailored for color-treated and heat-damaged hair, aiming to nourish and revitalize. The collection includes eight essential products for cleansing, conditioning, and repairing different hair textures—straight, coily, curly, and wavy.

The products include shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, oils, scalp treatments, and more. The brand places a significant emphasis on its ingredients, incorporating the patent-pending Bioactive Keratin Ferment, fermented rice water, and a blend of oils.

The collection includes essentials like Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub, Moisturizing Deep Conditioner, Hydrating Shampoo, Reconstructing Treatment Mask, Fermented Rice & Rose Protein Ritual, Moisture Sealing Lotion, Nourishing Hair Oil, and Hydrating Conditioner.

Beyonce‘s personal connection to Cecred

Beyonce, responding to the buzz surrounding the launch, affirmed the authenticity of the news in a video message. Reflecting on her upbringing in her mother’s hair salon, she acknowledged the influence of entrepreneurial women she encountered. 

Beyonce expressed her excitement about the opportunity to continue her mother’s legacy and invited fans to “experience what I’ve been creating.” Highlighting her journey with hair, she said, “I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

Beyonce hair care line is now available for purchase on cecred.com, with shipping options starting from £12.2 ($15.4) to the UK.

The brand draws inspiration from “global traditions” while incorporating “patent-pending advanced science.” The products boast ingredients such as butters, oils, honey, and fermented rice water, aiming to nourish a diverse range of hair types and textures.
