The scholarship program, a collaboration between the Jospong Group through its subsidiary, the Asian African Consortium (AAC), and RUDN University, marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to education and development in Ghana. It aims to foster education and development in the country.

The scholarship packages, spanning diverse fields such as Agriculture, Information Technology, Integrated Waste Management, and Climate Change studies, will benefit 120 Ghanaian students each year from 2024 to 2029.

Reshaping Ghana’s carbon credit landscape: Jospong Group’s $1-billion vision

The recent scholarship program aligns with Jospong Group’s diversified operations, which span 14 sectors of the economy, including waste management, ICT, banking, automobile, and equipment.

The group’s evolution from a printing press founded in 1995 into a conglomerate with a significant presence in multiple sectors reflects its commitment to driving economic growth and development across Ghana, other African countries, and Asia.

This recent collaboration with RUDN University follows Jospong Group’s memorandum of understanding (MoU) with EKI Energy Services, a leading Indian carbon credit developer and supplier. The partnership aims to reshape Ghana’s carbon credit landscape, mobilizing $1 billion in carbon credit financing.

The initiative has a broader vision of accelerating carbon credit development in the country, with a commitment to creating more than 1,000 job opportunities by 2030 across Ghana and West Africa.
