Liquid C2’s recently launched Cybersecurity Fusion Center in Lusaka, Zambia, marks the third such facility in Africa established under the leadership of Strive Masiyiwa’s technology firm, Liquid Intelligent Technologies.
The state-of-the-art center is designed to provide Zambian clients with real-time, intelligence-driven alerts and advisory services to proactively address potential threats.
The facility will also offer cybersecurity services, including customized threat intelligence, detection, and incident response, aimed at enabling businesses of all sizes to focus on their growth while effectively managing the escalating risks of cyber threats

According to Mark Townsend, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies, Zambia, the launch of Liquid C2’s Cyber Security Fusion Center in the country is important to the safety of the nation’s Zambia’s digital economy. “Launching Liquid C2’s third Cyber Security Fusion Center in Zambia is critical in safeguarding the country’s digital economy,” he said.
Townsend highlighted the importance of this initiative, which is a testament to the company’s commitment to bolstering the growth of small businesses.
He added that the Fusion Center’s integration into the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure would enable the provision of advanced protection to vital small businesses against the rising threat of cybercrime.
Liquid Intelligent’s new Cyber Security Fusion Center strengthens its growing presence
Liquid Intelligent Technologies has continued to expand its footprint across Africa and the Middle East with the launch of its Cyber Security Fusion Center in Lusaka, Zambia, following the launch of its second center in Nairobi, Kenya, four months prior.
Last week, Liquid Intelligent made an acquisition in the Middle East and North Africa region, acquiring the Cairo-based cloud and cybersecurity provider, Cysiv MEA.
The Masiyiwa-owned technology firm sees this acquisition as a significant asset to its portfolio in Africa, as it plans to integrate Cysiv MEA into Liquid C2 and align it with its global cloud and cybersecurity identity.
